Brandon Bowers, PA-C
Brandon Bowers is the son of Dr. Leo Bowers. He
graduated from Bethel High School in 2000 and went on to attend North Carolina
A&T University where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After
graduation, he felt drawn to the medical field and so applied to Eastern
Virginia Medical School’s Graduate Program for the Master’s Degree as a
physician assistant. Awaiting acceptance to the program, he worked as a high
school teacher, teaching Biology at Heritage High School. This did not last
long because he was accepted to his chosen program at Eastern Virginia Medical
School. Well known for his kindness and his dedication to medicine, he excelled
in his clinical rotations; patients and attending physicians alike all reveled
in his gentle beside manner and medical acumen. In 2011, he graduated and soon thereafter,
began working at Old Hampton Family Medical Associates alongside his father. In
addition to practicing medicine, Brandon also finds the time to participate in
various community service projects, including but not limited to 5K and mud runs
for various charities. Additionally, Brandon is an active member of Alpha Phi
Alpha fraternity, Incorporated which calls him to dedicate a good portion of
his life to the service to others.
